Dear colleagues,
It is with great excitement that I announce the
Lieutenant Governor’s appointment of both AASUA’s Executive Director & General Counsel, Brygeda Renke, and Associate Director, Labour Relations, Leanne Rosinski, as part-time members to the Alberta Labour Relations Board (ALRB). This is Leanne’s first appointment to the Board. This is Brygeda’s third appointment to the Board; she has been a Board member since October 30, 2017.
The Board is an independent and impartial tribunal responsible for the application and interpretation of Alberta’s labour laws, including legislation governing collective bargaining. Brygeda and Leanne’s appointments speak to the high caliber of professionals working for AASUA. You can read more about both of their backgrounds and experiences on the
