On Saturday, March 27, post-secondary workers and their allies will participate in drive-by protests in cities across the province, including Edmonton, Calgary, and Lethbridge, to send a message to the Alberta government to Stop PSE Cuts.
NASA and AASUA will be hosting the Edmonton protest—a drive past post-secondary institutions that will be affected most by the cuts—as part of the province-wide campaign brought together by Public Interest Alberta.
In Edmonton, we will meet on Saturday, March 27 at 11:00 am at the University of Alberta South Campus Lot J, located at 115A St & 65 Ave, just south of the South Campus LRT station (view on Google Maps). We'll take about 30 minutes to decorate our cars (feel free to bring your own materials for extra flash!) before departing together at 11:30 am for a drive through various UAlberta campuses in Edmonton impacted by the cuts, and concluding our action at the Alberta Legislature at 12:30 pm.
